Donald Trump NFT Sales On The Rise Following His Arrest!

The collection of unique digital assets known as NFTs that showcase former U.S. President Donald Trump has seen a surge in demand following his recent arrest.

In the hours after the news of his detainment broke, over 60 digital trading cards featuring Trump were sold by holders on the popular NFT marketplace OpenSea.

Data from the platform shows that various digital artworks depicting the former President have also become increasingly popular among buyers after this event.

Over the last 12 hours, more than 60 buyers have snapped up these unique digital tokens, with many spending around 0.5 ETH to get their hands on cryptographic images of former U.S. President Donald Trump posing in front of different backgrounds.

The most important purchase was made just a few hours ago by someone called paraguanads.eth, who acquired a card featuring Trump holding a rifle and sporting an orange hat for 0.697 ETH, equivalent to roughly $1,333 in today’s market.

Although he has been quite vocal in his criticism of the cryptocurrency world, especially when it comes to Bitcoin, the previous leader of the United States surprised many when he launched his own personal NFT collection towards the end of 2022.

These unique digital assets offer buyers the opportunity to interact with Trump in various ways, such as by meeting him in person or having dinner with him if they purchase enough.

However, the former President has been making headlines lately for a different reason, as he is facing 34 charges brought against him by American prosecutors. The most significant allegation is that he was involved in business fraud related to payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels to keep her from disclosing their affair.

Stormy Daniels, a woman who alleges that she had a sexual relationship with Trump in 2016 before he became President, claims that he paid her $130,000 to keep quiet about their affair. However, the business mogul has vehemently denied all accusations against him and pleaded not guilty to all charges.

In fact, he has even stated that the only wrongdoing he has ever committed was to defend the country bravely against its enemies. He went on to say that the lawsuit against him is not just an insult to him but to the entire nation.
