Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, is a well-known American YouTuber who pioneered a genre of videos featuring extravagant stunts. Besides his philanthropic efforts, he has recently made a name for himself as a cryptocurrency investor.
Based on his recent statements and the events around him, it appears that MrBeast holds a significant amount of Bitcoin (BTC), estimated to be around $2 million.
He almost lost it all two years ago when his house was robbed. In addition, he is also the proud owner of VeeFriends, a set of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) created by Gary Vaynerchuk.
MrBeast’s Crypto Holdings
During a recent chat on Flagrant’s YouTube channel, Donaldson shared an incident where he believed he had lost millions of dollars worth of Bitcoin.
He realized he had kept the private key to his crypto wallet right next to his laptop, which had been stolen during a break-in. However, luck was on his side as the thief failed to notice the key to a potential fortune.
In the interview, MrBeast called the thief a “moron” for not realizing the value of the Bitcoin that was right in front of him. Instead, he stole a TV and a blanket, leaving behind significant money in cryptocurrency.

In a recent interview on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE channel, MrBeast revealed that he had purchased eight unique CryptoPunk NFTs in early 2021. He further disclosed that he had sold these digital assets at a profit of around 20-30 times his initial investment. The proceeds from the sale were then invested in VeeFriends, a venture spearheaded by the well-known entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk.
In addition to his successful investment in CryptoPunk, he mentioned investing in XCAD Network (XCAD), a decentralized finance (DeFi) marketplace and YouTube plugin that aims to revolutionize creator monetization with a tokenized economy.
The platform offers influencers the option of one-click NFT creation and monetization. However, he has yet to launch his creator tokens.
MrBeast also announced his partnership with the renowned cryptocurrency trading platform, Coinbase. He has introduced an exciting offer where users can receive $10 worth of Bitcoin for free using his unique promotion code.

The accusations against Donaldson parallel those made against socialite Kim Kardashian, who, along with former boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and ex-basketball player Paul Pierce, is facing charges for promoting EthereumMax (EMAX).
Meanwhile, MrBeast is just one of the many influencers and celebrities who have jumped on the crypto bandwagon alongside the stars mentioned above, including former two-division Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion Conor McGregor, former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, Hollywood actor Matt Damon, American rapper Snoop Dogg, and football icon Cristiano Ronaldo.
